Psyche Sakaisuji Honmachi

The first time I saw this house “Tim Burton” immediately crossed my mind.

Perhaps in countries where the tenant can do reforms, painting or if the landlord has lived there for some period of time, we can find properties fashionably decorated, with different colours and original and personal touch. In Japan, where properties have no furniture and you find them the way it was when it was first made, this situation hardly ever happens.
Fortunately, we have the impact and attraction of the stylish “designers rooms”.
This one in particular is a building from 2005 which has been reformed in this fashion.
All rooms are 1DK: 1 room + 1 dining kitchen; around 33.28 square metres. Let’s have a look.

But the most interesting aspect of this house is not its interior, but its location. There is a “shotengai” (shopping street, usually arcade) at Honmachi perpendicular to the most famous Shinsaibashi shotengai. Well this place is inside the shopping street where bags, clothes and kimono shops, fruits, Senba Center Building (a 1km long mall), Chuo shotengai, and only 5 min to Sakaisuji Honmachi station.
You have a supermarket, a McDonald’s, a coffee shop, several combinis, everything within a walking distance from your door.
